Yesterday, Indigo Room went on a fantastic trip to the Motueka Museum and the Motueka Library.
At the Museum we looked at voyaging and lots of other really cool things.
Then we went to the Library.
At the library some people did origami animals and hearts.
They are sending the hearts down to Christchurch after what happened.
The people who didn't do origami browsed and got out books.
We also got to play on the playground and Mrs Milnes took a photo of us.

waka arma

Yesterday we went to waka ama.

Group one went to go on a waka first and Group two went for a walk to see the Mania statue and played in the sand.

After an hour, Group one came back, and Group two went on the waka next.

We had heaps of fun, because for some people its was there first time.

Most of the classes went for a swim, and some people made a dam.

On Tuesday last week, just a few days after the Weetbix triathalon, Indigo room decided to have a class triathalon. we organised the teams. On each team there was a biker, a runner, and a swimmer. Some people, however, decided to do it as an individual. the group runners went first. they took their positions.

ready, set...GO!

they were of like a bullet, to do two laps of the loop track. when they got back, they put one last, sudden burst of speed in and tagged the bikers. off they went.

1... 2... laps! the bikers dropped their bikes and went to tag the swimmers. they dived in the pool and swum two lengths of it. then went the individuals. they did the exact same thing, except they did only half of the things the groups did, which made it fair.
It was an absolutely amazing day!
