Last week we did enviro. There were five groups. Tui was in eels and freshwater fish. Each day they set the eel traps, but they didn't catch anything. We also watched some videos. 

Beau was on weta homes and we built a giant weta home and we put concrete in the bottom to hold the logs in place. 

The other groups were tree bingo, gardening and Ians group.

 Last week we did our houses, huts and habitats project. We also have to enter our Spring is Or isn’t Here writing.

Local House Visits

  This week we went to see three houses. There was a log cabin, a yurt and a clay house. 

They told us about the materials that made the houses and how it improved their lives. It was so fun because we went inside all of the houses. It was a different decor in each house and they were all made out of different materials.
