Week 1 Term 3

 This week we are hopefully going to Bark Bay,

We also learnt a new waiata, and it was really fun.

We also have a technology challenge, a library book quiz as well as the winter sports.

Maze game

When Mrs Milnes was sick we had Phoebe, (Yuri’s Mum) as our teacher. She has taught for 22 years. She taught us the maze game.

This is how you play the game:

1. Put the desks into a  maze.

2.  Pick two taggers to be in.

3. Then everybody apart from the taggers starts walking around the maze.

4. You have to be decisive in choosing which path to take.

5. Then the taggers start walking in the same way.

6. If you run into a tagger, shake their hands gracefully and then you are out.

7. The last person standing wins.

Rm 4 Matariki Celebration Preparations and Disco

 

 We have been making stress balls this week that are made from balloons, flour, rice & socks.

We got two balloons, then we put rice or flour or both.

Then we cut a hole in another balloon and put another balloon over it.

The stress balls are for when we get stressed out, not for playing with in class.

It got very messy on the table outside of room 4!
