In a couple of weeks there is a swimming contest that Leah and I are going to. It is cool that everyone is allowed to participate.
Mrs Roberts is going to run lunchtime practices. The competition is going to be in the Motueka highschool pool, so you have to be able to swim three lengths of our school pool nonstop! You have to do freestyle, breaststroke, and others, but I can’t remember what they are. Anyway it is very exciting!

Enviroleader
Most of the class decided they would like to sign up to be an Enviroleader this year, but Mrs Milnes said she could only choose three kids.
So we all made a speech about how we could be a good enviroleader.
We voted for Ella, Chase and me, A.K.A Leah.

This week we got ready for the athletics we did:
1.Long jump .
2.Shot put, long distance throw and discus.
3.High jump .
4. Relays
All to get ready for Friday. Good luck.
We think that we all did good , good for you if you are going to be in it. Try your hardest.

This weekend is the festival so we are getting set up for it.
We have made plant labels, zero waste posters and bags for the dahlias and Room 5 have repainted the sponge throw. Also, the lawns have been mowed, Alistair has dropped off some tables, the wood choppers have dropped off the wood and the judging for the scarecrows is on today! Exciting!
