TASKS - Choose from the following...
1. ART - Draw a picture of the Warden. Or draw a picture of the Rec/Wreck Room. Or draw a picture of the fish fossilised in the rock. Or draw a picture of the tube that Stanley found.
2. If you attended Camp Green Lake, what nickname would you choose for yourself? Make a poster of your nickname using fancy lettering.
3. Mr Pendanski talked to the kids about what they wanted to be when they got older. What do you want to be when you get older? Find out as much information about your dream job as possible. Share your findings anyway you want.
4. Start a KAHOOT with questions about the story. Add to it as you go along.
5. RESEARCH - The story is set in Texas, USA. Research the weather in Texas and compare it to the weather in NZ. Present your findings in a chart.

8. WRITING - In his letters home, Stanley makes up stories about what he does at Camp Green Lake. Rewrite one of Stanley’s letters, describing how Camp Green Lake really is.
