We have been making a bug hotel at school, using bamboo, wood, leaves, bricks and rocks. We put down the bricks for the base and we laid down bamboo on top and then sprinkled dirt and leaves on top. We repeated these steps a couple more times. We put rocks around it and made a ramp for land bugs to be able to get to it.
We put it next to the hammock, so that bugs near there have something to live in that will give them waterproof shelter.
We can study the bugs that live there once they move into their hotel.
